Secure Global Mobility with L-1 Blanket Petition Approval

If your company is large and engages in commercial trade or services with three or more branches, subsidiaries, and affiliates, you may be able to transfer L-1 personnel to the United States through the L-1 Blanket petition.

To be eligible, you must have an office in the United States that has been doing business for one year or more and meet one of the following criteria: have at least 10 L-1 approvals in the past year, have U.S. subsidiaries or affiliates with combined annual sales of at least $25 million, or at least have 1,000 U.S. workers.

Once approved, you can complete the Form I-129S and provide it to the employee, along with a copy of the blanket petition approval notice and other required evidence, for presentation to a consular officer for an L-1 visa.
